Erasmus (RDO) has accounts (profiles) on various social media platforms, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram. Do you follow one of our social media accounts? If so, then we only have access to your public profile data. We only process personal data if you share it with us yourself via our social media accounts. As a social media user, you have the right to access the personal data that we process about you.

Cookies are very small files that are temporarily stored by your browser on the hard disk of your computer, tablet, phone, or any other device you use to visit our website. They contain information that enables you to be recognized the next time you visit our website. Cookies are used by
www.emc-rdo.nl and by all sub sites that operate on the same server. This is done by Erasmusrdo or by partners who facilitate sections of the site.

What cookies are used and why?

YouTube uses tracking cookies in order to improve service and to provide you with personalized content, such as the most relevant search results. If you agree to the use of cookies, you are able to watch the videos on the Erasmusrdo website. If you do not agree, YouTube does not place any cookies. In this case, when you click on a video on the Erasmusrdo website, it will be opened in a new window, on the YouTube website.

Personal data protection

Erasmusrdo complies to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (in Dutch: Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming) and treats any data obtained by the use of cookies confidential. Cookies do not contain personal data, so Erasmusrdo cannot use them to personally identify you. The data are not used for any purposes other than supporting the functioning of the website and adjusting it to visitors as good as possible. The data are not made available to third parties.
